Its consolidated total income increased to Rs 7,199.94 crore for the fourth quarter of the FY24 against Rs 6,178.35 crore in the year-ago period.
Its net profit after tax was at Rs 439.60 crore in the January-March period of the preceding 2022-23 financial year, the company said in an exchange filing.
The firm, which retails CNG to automobiles and pipes natural gas to household kitchen for cooking purpose, saw a revenue increase of 5 per cent to Rs 1,257 crore while EBITDA surged 49 per cent to Rs 305 crore the quarter.
The stock dropped 4.44 per cent to settle at Rs 168.95 apiece on the BSE. During the day, it tanked 4.97 per cent to Rs 168.
Chief executive Patrick Pouyanne said in a statement that TotalEnergies was "delivering strong results and an attractive shareholder return" that were "in line with its ambitious 2024 objectives".
The consolidated income of the company in the January-March period dropped to Rs 36,093 crore as against Rs 38,635 crore in the year-ago period.
The company, which is owned by Chinese auto giant Geely, said its after-tax profit fell 10 percent to 3.6 billion kronor ($333 million).
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 88.19 crore in the October-December quarter a year ago, Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Ltd (CGCEL) said in a regulatory filing.
The earning was lower as price realised for crude oil the firm produced and sold in the quarter fell 6.4 per cent to USD 81.59 per barrel. Gas price too was 24.2 per cent lower at USD 6.5 per mmBtu.
The company's board of directors, in their meeting on Wednesday, approved the payment of a second interim dividend of Rs 4.50 per equity share of Rs 10 each (at the rate of 45 per cent of the paid-up equity share capital) for 2023-24.
